Grade Lineup (Applications at a Glance)

45Mn — Heavy-duty conveyor performer
~0.45% C with elevated Mn; heat-treated ≈55–60 HRC. Ideal for bucket elevators, mining conveyors, and heavy industrial links where stretch resistance and tensile strength are critical.

40Mn — Precision fit, tough output
Balanced strength/formability; heat-treated ≈52–56 HRC. Used in roller chains, hoists, and drive-chain assemblies that demand accurate press-fits for pins and bushings.

20Mn — Weldable core, carburized skin
Low-carbon base with Mn for depth; carburizes for a hard surface over a tough core. Suited to agricultural chains, welded-link systems, and large structural chains resisting abrasion and bending fatigue.

S55C — High-carbon chain power
~0.55% C; up to ≈58 HRC with fine pearlite for wear resistance. A top choice for bicycle/motorcycle drive chains, sprocket teeth, and high-cycle timing chains.
