Gonmo Knife-Grade Carbon Steel Series: Precision Steel for Sharper, Tougher, Longer-Lasting Blades

Knife-Ready, Globally Stocked: Carbon Steels that Perform

Gonmo—together with strategic partner LY Steel—supplies premium cold-rolled knife-grade carbon steels trusted by cutlery brands and industrial blade makers worldwide. With ultra-clean strip, tight thickness tolerances, and rapid global delivery, this portfolio provides consistent grindability, edge retention, and fatigue performance across kitchen, outdoor, and industrial categories.

SK85 / SK5 — Rugged & Reliable
~0.85% C; heat-treated hardness ≈58–65 HRC. Balances edge holding with toughness for bushcraft knives, hatchets, machetes, and all-purpose chef knives used in demanding, high-impact environments.

SK95 / SK4 — Sharp & Precise
~0.95% C; heat-treated hardness ≈60–66 HRC. Elevated hardness and edge stability for fine cutting tools: gyuto and nakiri kitchen knives, carving blades, craft scalpels, and razors.

SK120 / SK2 — Ultra-Hard & Wear-Resistant
Up to ~1.25% C; heat-treated hardness ≈66–67 HRC. Designed for dry-cutting and high-wear conditions: industrial slitters, utility blades, X-acto-type knives, and micro-cutting tools where maximum hardness is the priority.
