On April 10, 2025, LY Steel—our strategic partner and a leader in advanced steel manufacturing—participated in the Shanghai Defense Technology and Industrial Equipment & Information Technology Expo, held at the Shanghai Auto Exhibition Center.

Exhibition Highlights
1. Acetough® Wear-Resistant Steel
Launched in November 2024, the Acetough® Series has become a new benchmark for Chinese wear-resistant steels. Featuring superior flatness and forming performance, the series includes eight specialized product lines—covering high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and impact toughness. With specifications ranging from 2 mm to 30 mm thick and up to 2050 mm wide, Acetough® steels meet the diverse demands of engineering and heavy machinery.
Today, LY Steel holds the #1 market share in China’s wear-resistant steel market, with applications in mining machinery, dump trucks, and haul trucks.
2. High-Strength Structural Steel
Spanning seven product families, LY Steel’s high-strength structural steels are engineered for exceptional toughness, cold-resistance, bendability, weldability, and surface quality. Now available in thicknesses as thin as 2 mm, these steels enable lightweight, low-emission design solutions for truck-mounted cranes, aerial platforms, and hoisting equipment.
By supporting domestic import substitution, LY Steel helps Chinese manufacturers reduce reliance on foreign-supplied high-strength steels.
3. Silicon Steel Portfolio
LY Steel also showcased its silicon steel solutions, spanning hot-rolled, normalized pickled, and cold-rolled formats. The portfolio now fully covers non-oriented grades for new energy vehicles (NEVs) and grain-oriented grades (30Q120 to high-induction 23QGH080), empowering next-generation motors, transformers, and power systems.
