Hot-rolled Medium and High Carbon Steel
The medium and high carbon steel (0.20-1.2% C) covers complete range of specifications with high toughness, hardenability and wear-resistance, which are widely used in saw blade (such as stone, metallurgy and woodworking, etc.), automotive parts (such as disk spring, safety buckle, seat, gear, etc.), cutter, tool and high strength straps etc. Strip thickness covers from 1.5mm to 20mm and width ranges from 980mm to 2050mm.
The medium and high carbon steel has appropriate hardness, so that turned-down edge due to over softness and fracture due to over hardness shall not be generated during the stamping. The product performs good plasticity, and the high reduction can be applied during cold rolling process.
With good profile and high dimension accuracy, the product higher than 3.9mm in thickness can be cut in the most advanced domestic cross-cut shearing line, which guarantees good flatness, i.e, unflatness of cut-to-length sheet<10mm/m. The unflatness of the product with thickness lower than 3mm can be guaranteed as<15mm/m through finishing.
